Sales Executive - Sports

This full-time role is to become part of Appin Sports, a small but growing company. Your key area of sales will be bespoke sports apparel and accessories. Their current clients include running events, cycling events, football clubs and charity events. Once training and probationary period is complete, working from home one or two days a week is possible. Flexible working times between 7:30am and 7:30pm

Sales: You will be selling via a B2B channel to running events, cycling events and charity events. The majority of clients need their products for their club/event so there is no hard sell. You will have a 1 year minimum sales experience in B2B sales.

European Sales Executive - Sports

This full-time role is to become part of Appin Sports. Each member of the team plays a valuable role in the success of the business. Your key area of sales will be bespoke sports apparel and accessories to European sports events. Our current clients include running events, cycling events and charity events based 80% in the UK and 20% from Europe.

Sales: Based from the Edinburgh office, your role will be to increase sales to Western European sports events. Currently 20% of their sales are from outside UK.

Graphic Designer (position filled)

Appin Sports

Creates bespoke, wholesale, merchandise and accessories for running, football, cycling sports events & clubs. Our vision is to create fantastic participant experiences for sports events and clubs. We work with clients to understand their needs. Our eye-catching designs will enhance the clubs brand and drive future event entry figures.

The Company

We are a small but growing company and each member of the team plays a valuable role in the success of the business. Our current clients include running & cycling events and football clubs, predominantly in the UK but with a growing international clientele. Our office is based in Balerno on the outskirts of Edinburgh with easy access from the M8 and A720.

Position

This is a full-time permanent position for a Graphic Designer. Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 DOE. Once the training and probationary period is complete, working from home one or two days a week is possible. We have flexi-time between 7am and 7pm.

Job Description

Appin Sports produce bespoke sports merchandise, including football kits, medals, sports t-shirts and many sports accessories. One aspect of your role will be working with sales, or directly with clients, to create eye-catching designs for football kits, medals, event t-shirts, and many other products. You will be highly creative and be proactive in offering clients various suggestions/options beyond their direct requests.

Another aspect will be working with marketing to create visuals/graphics for newsletters, social medal and our website. You need to be able to manage your workload from end to end; including designing, amending, proofing and supplying designs to production in the correct format.

To be considered for this role you must have

  • - Excellent communication skills to liaise with client via phone/email to visualise their concepts
  • - Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • - Have at least 1+ years of Graphic Design experience.
  • - Excellent Attention to Detail.
  • - A good working knowledge of Photoshop. Also InDesign and Illustrator.
  • - Exceptional organisational skills and be able to work on numerous projects simultaneously.
  • - Be creative, offering clients different ideas for their event merchandise.
  • - Hardworking, and be able to work within a team.
  • - An interest in the sports sector would be an advantage.
