Damien O’Looney

Managing Director

Damien is the Managing Director of Appin Sports. Damien has spent many years working for some of the UK's largest running events so has a deep knowledge of the issues facing race directors and organisers. He’s on the race committee for the multi terrain 7R Half marathon and is race director for the ‘Rigg Race’ just outside Edinburgh. Damien is a keen runner and member of Harmeny AC. He’s most happy running the many trails around the Pentland Hills. Damien’s marathon PB is an impressive 2:42 achieved as a VET at Manchester 2017.

Kenny Aitchison

Football Consultant

Kenny is another new addition to Appin Sports team and was brought in as part of our expansion into football teamwear as a football consultant.
As a UEFA A licence and active football coach, Kenny has a great understanding of the current needs and requirements of a modern football club and will ensure that our customers have a terrific kit which will truly stand out. In his spare time, he trains Civil Service Strollers in the Scottish Lowland League, having previously coached with Dundee United and East Fife.

Bing Li

Production Manager

As the Appin Sports production manager, Bing is involved with the planning and coordination of all manufacturing processes. She essentially owns the end to end production process! Bing likes to work out at the gym in her spare time and pushes herself at body pump.

Abid Karim

Bookkeeping

Abid looks after all the invoicing and bookkeeping behind the scenes. He likes hill climbing and trekking around the high hills of Gilgit-Baltistan

Nadezhda Sheveleva

Graphic Design

Nadezhda joined the team in 2018. She converts all the ideas and design into production and print-ready artwork, putting them on the templates and making multiple revisions according to the client's preferences. Nadezhda is fond of yoga and enjoys her training and meditates twice a week.
